Program Information

All activities have a limited availability. Please sign up quickly, as it will be on a first come first serve basis. Gorham residents will have one week priority to sign up for trips after the schedule is released. Non-residents will be waitlisted until Thursday, March 28th, which is the date sign-ups open to non-residents. Bus fees may be collected the day of the trip. Trips may be cancelled if there are not enough people signed up. Fees will be credited if this happens. There will be a waiting list kept for trips in case of cancellations.

Trip pricing includes Bus Fee and Tickets. Lunch pricing is not included and is pay your own.
**Senior Flex and Stretch class will be held Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9am at the Recreation Dept.**

Monday, April 1st, 2024. Bus Departs 9:00am return time approx. 3:00pm. Brunch at Pollys Pancake Parlor and them some shopping Downtown Littleton, weather permitting.
Crafting At The Rec – Beaded Bracelet
Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024. Design your own memory wire bracelet with the help of Joan Egan and her mother Rhoda, from White Mountain Gemstone Artisans. All supplies are provided by Joan. Very easy to make!
CobbleStone Road at Medallion Opera House – Gorham, NH
Saturday, April 6th, 2024. CobbleStone Road specializes in country music from the 90’s to today. Their unique rockin’ country sound will have you singing and dancing all night long. Recently featured at Dolly’s Honky Tonk at THE BIG E, the Cadillac Ranch, the Rocking Horse Smokehouse and The Truck Bar, CSR brings you the best in country! Sign up by April 1st.

Dinner at Muddy Moose & The Elephant Man play at M&D Playhouse – Conway, NH
Tuesday, April 9th, 2024. Bus Departs 4:30pm return time approx. 9:45pm. Show time is 7:30pm. The Elephant Man is based on the life of John Merrick, who lived in London during the latter part of the 19th century. A horribly deformed young man – the victim of rare skin and bone diseases – he becomes a star attraction in traveling sideshows. Found abandoned, he is admitted to London’s Whitechapel Hospital. Under the care of celebrated young physician Frederick Treves, Merrick is introduced to London society and evolves into a witty favorite of the aristocracy, only to be denied his ultimate dream – to become a man like any other. Fee includes bus & show. Dinner is self-pay. *This is the final dress rehearsal for the play. It will be the same as the regular show however the tickets are deeply discounted.
River Lanes Bowling – Bethel, ME
Thursday, April 11th, 2024. Bus Departs 11:30am return time approx. 3:00pm. We had so much fun we are doing it again! Lunch then bowling at River Lanes. Trip fee includes bus, bowling and shoe rental. Lunch is self-pay. *We will have 2 lanes. Minimum of 6 people for this trip, 5 lb. & 6 lb. balls available*
Savvy Seniors: Andrea Lovett form Sweet Release Healing – Mental & Emotional Wellness Rec Department 1:30pm – 3:00pm
Friday, April 12th, 2024. Andrea is a psychic channel for your Spirit Guides, a Spiritual Teacher, Reiki Master, writer, and speaker. She will be in talk with us. We will learn more about what Sweet Release Healing has to offer and how it may benefit your life!

Coaticook – CANADA
Wednesday April 17th, 2024. Gorham Rec 9:00am – 6:00pm. We are going International!!! We will have lunch, then make our way to Laiterie de Coaticook, one of the largest cheese and ice cream manufacturers in Quebec. They offer various products made from milk and cream: ice cream, ice milk, ice cream log and cheese. We will shop at the IGA (groceries,) Tigre Géant (discount store), and make out way back home. Coolers are suggested. MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT. We cannot transport meat, fresh fruit, plants or potatoes across the border.
